關閉窗口 考點2 考查地點名詞前介詞的用法
英語中可用于時間名詞前的介詞也有不少，如in, on, at, above, under, over, beside, near, around等，但綜觀歷年中考英語考題，主要考查最多的只有at, on, in等少數幾個常用介詞。具體使用時注意以下幾點：
1. at指較小的地方，如車站、家等；in多指在較大地方，如國家、城市、大洲等；而on則主要表示在表面。如：
Please wait for me at the bus station. 請在公共汽車站等我。
The plane will arrive in Beijing at 13:00. 飛機將于13點到達北京。
Don’t put the book on the table. 不要把書放在桌子上。
2. 另外，注意表示方位的介詞in, to, on——in表示在某地范圍之內；to表示在某地范圍之外；on表示與某地相鄰或接壤，或表示位于某河畔或湖畔。如：
【考例1】Let’s play table tennis ________ Tuesday morning, shall we? (河北中考題)
A. on B. in C. to D. at
【分析】答案選A。表示在具體某一天的上午、下午或晚上，其前用介詞on。又如：You should come on Monday morning. 你應該在星期一上午來。
【考例2】Do you know that Fujian is ________ the west of Taiwan? (福建莆田中考題)
A. to B. in C. on D. at
【分析】答案選A。由于“福建”與“臺灣”沒有包含關系，所以不能in。它們隔臺灣海峽相望，兩者之間有一段距離，故用to。
考點3 考查介詞與名詞的固定搭配
英語中由介詞與名詞構成的固定搭配很多，請看以下幾個考例：
【考例1】—Is it polite to speak and laugh loudly ________?
—No, I don’t think so. (山西中考題)
A. in public B. at least C. on time D. in time
【分析】答案選A。in public的意思是“在公眾場合”，at least的意思是“至少”，on time的意思是“準時”，in time的意思是“及時”。比較四個選項，顯然只有A最符合語境。
【考例2】Mary lived near her school, so she went to school ________ foot. (湖南湘西中考題)
A. on B. by C. with D. for
【分析】答案選A。表示“步行”，英語習慣上說on foot。又如：It’s not very far, so we may as well go on foot. 那地方不太遠，所以我們還是走著去吧。
考點4 考查介詞與形容詞的固定搭配
英語中由介詞與形容詞構成的固定搭配也很多，請看以下幾個考例：
【考例1】The food ________ my country is quite different ________ that here. (廣州中考題)
A. in; like B. to; from C. from; to D. in; from
【分析】答案選D。第一空填in，表示地點，the food in our country的意思是“我們國家的食物”；第二空填from，是因為形容詞different后習慣上接介詞from，表示“與……不同”。又如：City life is very different from country life. 城市生活與農村生活很不相同。
【考例2】You can find a way to reach your goals when you are proud ________ yourself and stand tall like a sunflower. (哈爾濱中考題)
A. on B. from C. of (www.52ysedu.com)
【分析】答案選C。be proud of為固定搭配，其意為“為……自豪”。又如：She was very proud of her son. 她很為兒子驕傲。The English are proud of their history. 英國人以自己的歷史而自豪。
