01. After you.
(1) 用作進出門或進餐等場合請人先行的客套語，意為：你先請。如：
A：After you. 你先請。
B：No, please. 不，你先請。
(2) 表示：你用完后請讓我……(其后接介詞with)。如：
After you with the newspaper, please. 你看完報后請讓我看。
02. I couldn’t agree less.
表示完全不同意對方的觀點或看法等，可譯為：我一點也不同意；我完全不同意；我絕對不同意。如：
A：Perhaps we can sell the house. 也許我們可以把房子賣掉。
B：I couldn’t agree less. 我絕對不同意。
A：The film is worth seeing twice. 這部電影值得看兩遍。
B：I couldn’t agree less. 我一點不同意。
03. I couldn’t agree more.
表示完全同意對方的觀點或看法等，可譯為：我完全同意；我舉雙后贊成；你說得很對。如：
A：I think it’s a bad idea. 我想這不是個好主意。
B：I couldn’t agree more. 你說得很對。
04. Go ahead.
(1)表示同意或允許，意為：說吧；做吧；開始吧；進行吧。如：
A：Can I have the sports section? 我可以看體育版嗎？
B：Yeah, go ahead, I’ve read it. 可以，你看吧。我已看過了。
A：Could I ask you a rather personal question? 我可以問你一個較私人的問題嗎？
B：Sure, go ahead. 可以，你問吧。
05. Not at all.
(1) 用來回答感謝，意為：不用謝；不客氣。如：
A：Thanks for helping me. 謝謝你幫助我。
B：Not at all. I enjoyed it. 別客氣，很高興能幫你。
(2) 用來回答道歉，意為：沒關系。如：
A：I’m sorry to keep you waiting. 對不起，讓你久等了。
B：Oh，not at all. I’ve been here only a few minutes. 哦，沒關系，我也剛到幾分鐘。
(3)用來表示否定(是No的加強說法)，意為：一點也不；完全不。如：
A：Do you mind if I stay a little longer? 我再呆一會兒你介意嗎？
B：No, not at all. 一點不介意。
06. It’s [That’s] a bargain.
表示同意或達成協議，意為：好吧；我同意了；就這樣吧；就這樣定了；一言為定。如：
A：You sweep the floor and I’ll clean the windows. 你掃地我來擦窗子。
B：OK, that’s a bargain. 好，就這樣。
A：Let’s make a bargain. If you do my homework, I’ll give you the book. 我們做個交易吧，你幫我做作業，我把這本書給你。
B：All right. It’s a bargain. 好吧，一言為定。
06. Believe it or not.
當說話人要告訴對方一件意想不到的事或使對方感到驚奇的事時，用以強調自己所說之話的真實性，意為：信不信由你；不管你信不信；我說的是真的。如：
I was already a university teacher, believe it or not, when I was only twenty. 信不信由你，我才20歲就已經是大學老師了。
I asked my boss for a month’s holiday and, believe it or not, he agreed. 我向老板請一個月的假，信不信由你，他同意了。
注：有時也說 Would you believe it? / Believe or believe not。
07. Mind your own business.
表示：這不用你管! 你少管閑事! 這關你什么事? 如：
A：What has he sent you in that parcel? 他在那包里給你寄來了什么?
B：Mind your own business. 你少管閑事。
注：此用法與 None of your business 同義，兩者常可換用。如：
A：What do you do with your money? 你的錢用來干什么?
B：None of your business. 這不用你管。
