1. This is the biggest nature park for milu deer in China ________ they have visited.
A. where B. in which C. that D. which
【分析】解此題的關鍵在于找準定語從句中的先行詞。此題中的先行詞應該是 park，for milu deer 和in China 都是限定語修飾 park的；又因為 visit 是及物動詞，應有賓語，而where和 in which只能作狀語，據此可排除A和B；而這里的先行詞又是被形容詞的最高級所修飾，可排除 D，故答案選C。在這里，句中for milu deer 和in China 分離了先行詞與它的定語從句，會使人產生錯覺，誤入陷阱。請看下面類似的例子(www.52ysedu.com)：
(1) The day they were looking forward to________ at last.
A. coming B. comes C. came D. come
(2) Do the way you thought of ________ the water clean make any sense?
A. making B. to make C. how to make D. having made
第 (1) 題的答案為 C。主句的主語是 The day，其中 they were looking forward to 是一個定語從句；第 (2) 題的答案是B。其中 you thought of 是一個定語從句，它實際上考查的是短語the way to do sth / of doing sth 的用法。
2. Dorothy was always speaking highly of her role in the play, ________, of course, made the others unhappy.
A. who B. which C. this D. that
【分析】此題中的of course 對很多同學具有迷惑性和干擾性。事實上，答案選B。這是一個含有由 which 引導的非限制性定語從句的復合句(在非限制性定語從句不能用關系代詞that 引導)，在句子中 of course 是一個插入語，對句子作一些附加的修飾，并將定語從句和它的先行詞隔離開來，從而增加解題難度。分析結構時我們可將其拿掉，使句式簡化。
3. Is this museum ________ some German friends visited the day before yesterday?
A. which B. where C. that D. the one
【分析】此題很容易誤選為A或C，知道將它當作一個定語從句來看，但卻誤將 this museum 當成定語從句的先行詞。其實，this museum 是主句的主語，這是一個疑問句，我們只要將句子還原成 This museum is… 就可以看出定語從句缺少了先行詞。由此我們可知 D 是正確答案。做這一類試題時，常常將疑問句還原成陳述句，問題就變得簡單了。請看下面類似的例子：
(1) Is this museum ________ his father worked ten years ago?
A. in which B. where C. that D. the one
(2) Is this the museum ________ some German friends visited the day before yesterday?
A. in which B. where C. that D. the one
分析：第(1)題答案是 B。將題干還原成：This museum is ________ his father worked ten years ago. 便可知這是一個由where 引導的表語從句, 在表語從句中 where 不能用“介詞 + which”來替換；第(2)題的答案是C。將題干還原成：This is the museum ________ some German friends visited the day before yesterday. 便不難看出句子的主干是 This is the museum 其后是一個定語從句修飾先行詞 the museum的，所以應選關系代詞作從句謂語動詞visited 的賓語。
