易錯點四  忽略人稱代詞與關系代詞的區別

若同學們在一個考題中對于該用人稱代詞還是關系代詞拿不定主意，則可以這樣分析：若選關系代詞，則它引導的一定是定語從句，那么它的前就肯定不可能有像and或but這樣的并列連詞，所以，若句子已經用了并列連詞and或but，則不可能選用關系代詞。如：

1. Last week, only two people came to look at the house, _________ wanted to buy it. (安徽卷)

A. none of them       B. both of them       C. none of whom      D. neither of whom

答案選D。由于前面提到的是兩個人，故后面只能用表兩者的both或neither，據此可排除A和C。由于空格前用的是逗號，且沒有連詞，故只不能選B，而要選D，因為neither of whom為非限制性定語從句，用以修飾two people。

2. It is reported that two schools, _________ are being built in my hometown, will open next year.

A. they both            B. which both            C. both of them       D. both of which

答案選D。both of which are being built in my hometown為非限制性定語從句，其中的which指代前面的two schools。

A. it                        B. them                     C. which                 D. that

(2) He wrote a lot of novels, and many of _________ were translated into foreign languages.

這兩個句子的不同之處在于，第二句多了一個并列連詞and，所以第一句應選關系代詞which，第二句應選人稱代詞them。
