level ,degree ,scale ,extent, proportions, magnitude.的區(qū)別.這些詞,似乎都有表程度的意思 . 雖然都可翻譯為程度的意思,但強(qiáng)調(diào)的東西總有不同吧？
我下面例舉下我的疑惑,以方便老師更好的講解到我的疑惑點(diǎn).在此,先謝謝老師了.辛苦了.
千萬別被這么長嚇到了哈,都是我的例句加上一大堆廢話,問題其實(shí)只有幾個而已.再次感謝老師.一定要幫我呵.詳細(xì)點(diǎn).
1.degree和extent.區(qū)別.在表示程度時,似乎沒什么區(qū)別,以下用degree的地方可以換成extent嗎？extent 強(qiáng)調(diào)的是how large,important,serious 等等,強(qiáng)調(diào)有多么多么的….,即程度.
degree 到底在強(qiáng)調(diào)什么？ 我糊涂了.
These man-made barriers will ensure a very high degree of protection..(保護(hù)力度有多么的… ,用extent 不行嗎？)

B.在強(qiáng)調(diào)范圍,規(guī)模的時候…和size 區(qū)別.
the size of companies .公司規(guī)模 / the size of the market fot their new product .產(chǎn)品的市場規(guī)模.(可以換成the scale of companies /market嗎？產(chǎn)品市場規(guī)模,其實(shí)就是強(qiáng)調(diào)一種范圍,那么可以用scope 嗎？)
業(yè)務(wù),產(chǎn)品規(guī)模用size ,還是scale , or scope.
He knows the size of the task... 該怎么翻譯？
3.level 通常翻譯為水平, 程度, 量. 我對這個詞的理解就更模糊了, 它似乎在強(qiáng)調(diào)某個數(shù)量范圍中的一個 值.點(diǎn). 程度. 即a point on a scale 的概念。但似乎有不妥,這樣的話, extent of problem, degree of skill等等,都應(yīng)該換成level了. degree似乎也表示某種數(shù)量,量的概念,不知和level 有什么概念上的區(qū)別 .
noise levels / price/income levels / high level of intelligence 很高的智力水平.
level of demand 需求量. (可以換成 the amount of demand嗎？)
