名詞用作狀語是一種較典型的語法現象，而當前各種高考資料中針對此現象的語法分析并不常見。本文僅試對其在固定結構（名詞+形容詞/過去分詞）中作狀語的常見類型做一下簡要分析，以期對廣大高考考生有所幫助。

1．名詞在固定結構中用作地點狀語：

home-made自制的 國產的
2．名詞在固定結構中用作方式狀語：
bottle-fed奶瓶喂養的
breast-fed母乳喂養的
heat treated熱加工的
hand-made 手工制作的
man-made人造的 人為的
computer controlled由計算機控制的
3．名詞在固定結構中用作方面狀語：
age appropriate適合年齡的
environment friendly對環保有益的
heart-broken傷心欲絕的
tax-free 免稅的
car-sick 暈車的
water-resistant 防水的
4．名詞在固定結構中用作比喻性狀語，這種最為常見：
snow white雪白的
brick red磚紅色的
grass-green草綠色的
sea-green海綠色的
showroom new嶄新的
lead heavy像鉛一般重的
ice-cold冰冷的
mountains high山一樣高的
rock-hard巖石般堅硬的
stone-faced 面無表情的
【經典例句】

英語名詞作狀語常常構成固定詞組及合成形容詞，使英語語法結構簡潔明了，描摹形象生動，其使用類型，不僅限于上述幾個方面，還有一些規律及用法有待我們在英語學習和使用中做進一步的探討。
