三、易錯(cuò)陷阱

陷阱1  在連系動(dòng)詞后誤用副詞作表語(yǔ)

根據(jù)英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法，連系動(dòng)詞后要接形容詞作表語(yǔ)，不接副詞。如：

大家都認(rèn)為這菜好吃。

誤：Everyone thinks that the food tastes well.

正：Everyone thinks that the food tastes good.

所有的孩子們看上去都非常高興。

誤：All the children look very happily.

正：All the children look very happy.

陷阱2  誤用雙重比較等級(jí)

所謂“雙重比較級(jí)”，指的是在比較前使用more或less來(lái)修飾，如說(shuō)more better, less better之類的。記住，根據(jù)英語(yǔ)習(xí)慣，在任何情況下，使用雙重比較級(jí)都是錯(cuò)誤的。如：

吃完藥后她感覺(jué)好多了。

誤：She felt more better after taking the medicine.

正：She felt much better after taking the medicine.

同樣的道理，使用雙重最高級(jí)也是錯(cuò)誤的。也就是說(shuō)，在構(gòu)成最高級(jí)時(shí)，我們也不能既在詞尾加-est，又在其前加most。如：

巴黎是世界上最大的城市之一。

誤：Paris is among the most largest cities in the would.

正：Paris is among the largest cities in the would.

陷阱3  受漢語(yǔ)影響用錯(cuò)比較比象

如果有人問(wèn)你，“5米布”與“2公斤大米”哪個(gè)重些，你如何回答？如果你說(shuō)5米布重些，那你就錯(cuò)了。事實(shí)上，這兩者由于“單位”不同，它們無(wú)法比重量。在使用英語(yǔ)比較等級(jí)時(shí)也要注意類似的問(wèn)題。如：

你的發(fā)音比我好多了。

誤：Your pronunciation is better than me.

正：Your pronunciation is much better than mine. (www.52ysedu.com)

析：“她的語(yǔ)音”與“我”不是同一范疇的比較對(duì)象，它們不能作比校。正確的比較方法是，將“她的語(yǔ)音”與“我的語(yǔ)音”作比較。上面正句中的mine相當(dāng)于my pronunciation。

中國(guó)人口比印度人口多。

誤：The population of China are larger than India.

正：The population of China is larger than that of India.

析：“中國(guó)的人口”與“印度”不是同一范疇的比較對(duì)象，它們不能作比校。正確的比較方法是，將“中國(guó)的人口”與“印度的人口”作比較。上面正句中的that of India相當(dāng)于the population of India。
