E-mail的用法、語法與搭配

也可說成e-mail，可用動(dòng)詞或名詞，使用時(shí)注意以下幾點(diǎn)：

1. 用作名詞時(shí)，若籠統(tǒng)地指“電子郵件”，是不可數(shù)的。如：

Email is great for keeping in touch. 電子郵件對(duì)于保持聯(lián)系十分有用。

I use the Internet mainly for sending email messages. 我使用因特網(wǎng)主要是為了電子郵件。

Writing e-mail is a very different animal from all other forms of writing. 寫電子郵件與寫其他東西相比，那完全是兩回事。

但是，若指具體的一封電子郵件，則是可數(shù)的。如：

I sent her an email yesterday. 我昨天給她發(fā)了電子郵件。

Net users can filter out unwanted emails with software. 網(wǎng)絡(luò)用戶可以用軟件過濾不想看的電子郵件。

表示“用電子郵件”時(shí)，用by email，此時(shí)的email總是不可數(shù)的。如：

We communicated mostly by e-mail. 我們主要通過電子郵件交流。

有時(shí)也用via email。如：

Are you contactable by [via] e-mail? 可以通過電子郵件與你聯(lián)系嗎?

2. 用作動(dòng)詞時(shí)，為及物動(dòng)詞，表示“給……發(fā)電子郵件”。如：

I’ve emailed him twice. 我已給他發(fā)過兩次電子郵件。

Will you email me about it? 請(qǐng)把這事通過電子郵件告訴我好嗎?

有時(shí)可接雙賓語。如：

You can e-mail me the list. 你可以把名單用郵件發(fā)給我。

若雙賓語易位，可用介詞to來引出間接賓語。如：

I’ll e-mail the documents to her. 我把文件用郵件發(fā)給了她。

其直接賓語有時(shí)還可以是從句。如：

She emailed her husband that she had passed the entry examination. 她發(fā)電子郵件告知其夫，她通過了入學(xué)考試。
