connect的用法與搭配

1. 與介詞with或to搭配，意思稍有不同：用介詞with指把A與B聯(lián)系起來或連接在一起，A、B之間不分主次，且其中的介詞with有時(shí)也可換成連詞and。如：

They fit closely together and connect with each other. 它們緊密地卡合在一起，聯(lián)結(jié)成一個(gè)整體。

A good student must connect what he reads with what he sees around him. 一個(gè)好學(xué)生必須將他所讀到的東西與他周圍所看到的東西聯(lián)系起來。

用介詞to指把A連接在B上，說話者以B為主，為A為輔。如：

2. 下列情況，通常用介詞 with。如：

(1) 表示關(guān)系方面的“聯(lián)系時(shí)：

He’s connected with our school. 他與我們學(xué)校有聯(lián)系。

He is connected with the Smiths. 他與史密斯家有姻親。

Mathematics is connected with astronomy. 數(shù)學(xué)與天文學(xué)有聯(lián)系。

(2) 表示汽車、火車、飛機(jī)等交通方面的“相通”“銜接”時(shí)：

The trolleybus connects here with a bus for the airport. 這輛無軌電車與開往機(jī)場(chǎng)的公共汽車銜接。

This early bus from the village connects with the 8:30 train. 這輛從村里開來的早班車與8:30的火車銜接。
