用作賓語用who還是whom

從理論上說，who 與 whom均表示“誰”，均只用于人，其中who為主格，用作主語；whom為賓格，用作賓格。但事實(shí)上，在日常生活中人們很少使用whom，一般都用who代替之。如：

Whom [Who] are you writing to? 你在給誰寫信?

Whom [Who] do you like best? 你最喜歡誰?

若是緊跟在介詞之后用作賓語，則只能用 whom，但這類表達(dá)通常只見于較正式的文體中。如。

但是，緊跟在介詞后時(shí)只能whom，不過這種用法過于莊重，僅用于書語。如：

With whom did you go? 你跟誰一起去的?

To whom you give the money? 你把錢給了誰？

He sided with me about whom to vote for. 他支持我投票所選的人。

用作關(guān)系代詞引導(dǎo)定語從句時(shí)，情況也是如此。如：

There were hundreds of protestors, not a few of whom were women. 有數(shù)百名抗議者，其中相當(dāng)一部分為婦女。

You find yourself married to someone with whom you’re not compatible. 你突然意識到自己和一個(gè)合不來的人結(jié)了婚。

Sundry distant relatives, most of whom I hardly recognized, turned up for my brother’s wedding.  遠(yuǎn)房親戚都來參加我哥哥的婚禮，他們大多數(shù)我都不太認(rèn)識。
