take turns之后不可以接動(dòng)詞不定式嗎？
——兼談take turns的用法

牛津高中英語(yǔ)模三p9有這樣一句話：
The other group members could take turns narrating and holding the pictures. 另外一組的成員可以輪流敘述和舉畫(huà)。
句中的take turns后面接的是現(xiàn)在分詞，但我的筆記上有take turns后接不定式的用法（沒(méi)有當(dāng)時(shí)抄例句）。
請(qǐng)問(wèn)take turns到底是接不定式還是現(xiàn)在分詞？若兩者都可接，它們有區(qū)別嗎？
“英語(yǔ)答疑網(wǎng)”網(wǎng)名號(hào)為my315的認(rèn)證專家作出如下解答：
take turns 后面可以接動(dòng)詞的ing形式和“at +動(dòng)詞的ing形式”,表示“輪流做某事”的意思。例如：
He and his wife take turns washing the dishes. 他和他的妻子依次洗刷盤(pán)子。（《英漢雙解當(dāng)代美國(guó)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)詞典》第1638頁(yè)）
She and Mark took turns at feeding it . 她和馬克輪流給它喂食。（《張道真高級(jí)英語(yǔ)詞典》第1607頁(yè)）
我查閱了十多部英美和我國(guó)編寫(xiě)的英英詞典、英漢詞典和英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法、用法專著，還沒(méi)有發(fā)現(xiàn)take turns 后面接動(dòng)詞不定式的例句。

實(shí)際上，my315老師的看法還是有市場(chǎng)的，例如李在銘著的《現(xiàn)代英語(yǔ)慣用法詞典》(現(xiàn)代出版社1995年5月第1版)P752就認(rèn)為：
take turns at doing something (輪流作某事)一語(yǔ)不可以改為take turns to do something。
另外，張道真編著的《現(xiàn)代英語(yǔ)用法詞典》(重排本) (外語(yǔ)教學(xué)與研究出版社1994年10月第1版)P 1615盡管沒(méi)有明確表示take turns之后不能接to do something，但所有的例句沒(méi)有一個(gè)是take turns后接to do something的。不知是當(dāng)時(shí)是確實(shí)take turns之后不能接to do something，還是認(rèn)定take turns之后不能接to do something，所以故意沒(méi)有收錄。例如：
take turns 輪流(做某事)
I’ll take turns with you at cutting the hedge.
The tree brother took turns at looking after their sick mother.
The lawyers take turns at reading the Bible.
We took turns in guarding the treasure.
Since we took turns driving, we didn’t find the trip too tiring.
而實(shí)際上，現(xiàn)在take turns之后既可以接(at / in / on) doing something, 也可以接to do something。請(qǐng)看例證：

brainstorming sessions where we took turns to throw in ideas.
2. Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English (English۰Chinese) (Fourth Edition)(光盤(pán)版)turn2詞條：take turns 又作take it in turns BrE
take turns doing sth.
The students were taking turns reading aloud.
take turns in doing sth. BrE
We took turns in pushing the bike along.
take turns to do sth.
Dan and I usually take turns to cook.
3.《牛津高階英漢雙解詞典》(第六版)(商務(wù)印書(shū)館 2004年 8月第2版)P 1903:
take turns (in sth/to do sth) ( BrE also take it in turns ) if people take turns or take it in turns to do sth, they do it one after the other to make sure it is done fairly.
The male and female birds take turns in sitting on the eggs.
We took it in turns to do the housework.
4.《牛津高階英漢雙解詞典》(第7版) (商務(wù)印書(shū)館 2009年 4月第3版) P 2175:
take turns in sth/to do sth ( BrE also take it in turns ) if people take turns or take it in turns to do sth, they do it one after the other to make sure it is done fairly.
The male and female birds take turns in sitting on the eggs.
We took it in turns to do the housework.

take turns (in sth/to do sth) ( BrE also take it in turns )
if people take turns or take it in turns to do sth, they do it one after the other to make sure it is done fairly.

6. John Sinclair《COBUILD 英漢雙解詞典》(上海譯文出版社 2002年11月第1版) P2107: If two or more people take turns to do something or take it in turns to do something, they do it one after the other, especially this is fair.
You can take turns paying for evening functions…
The protesters are taking it in turns to chain themselves to the perimeter fence…
They took turns at the same typewriter.
7.《柯林斯COBUILD高階英漢雙解學(xué)習(xí)詞典》(外語(yǔ)教學(xué)與研究出版社 2011年7月第1版) P2862: 39. If two or more people take turns to do something or in British English take it in turns to do something, they do it one after the other several times, rather doing it together.
