一、-ed形容詞的用法與歸納

-ed形容詞就是指那些-ed分詞轉(zhuǎn)化來(lái)的形容詞。這類(lèi)形容詞主要用來(lái)說(shuō)明人的感受,含有“感到……”之意,其中比較常見(jiàn)的有:

amused開(kāi)心的            astonished 驚訝的         delighted高興的

disappointed 失望的    excited 激動(dòng)的             frightened 恐懼的

interested 感興趣的    moved 感動(dòng)的              pleased 高興的

puzzled 迷惑的           satisfied 滿(mǎn)意的            surprised 吃驚的

tired 疲勞的               worried 擔(dān)心的

請(qǐng)看以下例句:

He was much amused by all this talk.  這一席話讓他覺(jué)得十分好笑。

She was quite astonished at his rudeness.  他的粗魯令她相當(dāng)吃驚。

The boy was delighted with his new knife. He had been wanting one for a long time.  男孩對(duì)新小刀很高興。他早就想要一把了。

She was disappointed at his refusal. 他拒絕了她很失望。

The audience were very excited by the show. 演出使觀眾非常激動(dòng)。

The frightened horse began to run. 受驚嚇的馬開(kāi)始跑了起來(lái)。

The latest big idea is to make women more interested in sport.  最新的大計(jì)劃是讓女性對(duì)運(yùn)動(dòng)更感興趣。

She was moved when her neighbour remembered her in his will.  她的鄰居在遺囑提到她,她被深深地打動(dòng)了。

My doctor says she is pleased with my progress.  我的大夫說(shuō)她對(duì)我的病情好轉(zhuǎn)非常高興。

frightening 可怕的             interesting 有趣的               moving 動(dòng)人的

puzzling 令人迷惑的  satisfying 令人滿(mǎn)意的          surprising 令人吃驚的

tiring 令人疲勞的              worrying 令人擔(dān)心的

請(qǐng)看以下例句:

He proved himself to be an amusing man.  他證明是一個(gè)有趣的人。

It’s astonishing that she should say that sort of thing to you. 她居然對(duì)你說(shuō)出那種話,真叫人吃驚。

He is a bad-tempered fellow, but he can be quite charming when he wishes.  他是個(gè)脾氣暴躁的人,但他愿意時(shí)也可以很溫和。

The scope of the exhibition is disappointingly narrow.  展品范圍很窄,令人失望。

This film is more exciting than any that I’ve ever seen.  這部影片比我所看過(guò)的都更令人激動(dòng)。

Seen from the student’s viewpoint, the oral exam can be frightening.  從學(xué)生的角度來(lái)看,口試可能有些嚇人。
