7. stop等動詞后接不定式或動名詞含義不同

此題應選B。在動詞stop(停止), go on(繼續)等之后, 接不定式或動詞的-ing形式都可以,但含義有差別:stop之后若接不定式, 表示停止正在做的事情而去做另外一件事(即去做不定式表示的動作);若接動詞的-ing形式, 則只表示停止正在做的事情(即停止-ing動詞所表示的動作)go on 之后若接不定式,表示的是做完一件事情后, 接著做另外一件事(即做不定式所表示的動作);若接動詞的-ing形式, 則表示繼續做正在做的事(即繼續做-ing動詞表示的動作)。如:
