14. He said he would never forget the day _________ he spent with his girlfriend in the country. A. that B. when C. how D. where 【分析】此題容易誤選 B,有不少學(xué)生總是機(jī)械地認(rèn)為:時(shí)間名詞后用關(guān)系副詞when,地點(diǎn)名詞后用關(guān)系副詞 where。 (1) This is the factory _________ I worked 10 years ago. (選A) (2) This is the factory _________ I worked in 10 years ago. (選B) A. where B. that C. what D. why 15. She may have missed the train, in _________ case she won’t arrive for another hour. A. whose B. that C. which D. what 【分析】此題容易誤選 A,因?yàn)椴簧賹W(xué)生認(rèn)為在定語從句中能用作定語的關(guān)系代詞只有 whose。其實(shí)除 whose 可用作定語外,which 也可用作定語,只是含義上有差別:在此情況下,whose 的意思相當(dāng)于 one’s,而 which 的意思則相當(dāng)于 that 或 this。 (1) This is Mary, whose [= and her] father we met last week. (2) Call again at 11, by which time [= and by that time] the meeting should be over. B(that)。 16. Sophia was dressed like an actress, _________ she was not. A. that B. which C. who D. it 【分析】此題很容易誤選 C,因?yàn)樵S多學(xué)生認(rèn)為指人時(shí)總是用 who,不能用 which,選項(xiàng) A(that)雖然也能指人,但這是非限制性定語從句,也不能用。其實(shí)此題應(yīng)選 B(which),因?yàn)檫@里的 which 指的其實(shí)不是具體的某個(gè)人,而是指一個(gè)人的特征或?qū)傩裕藭r(shí)不能用 who。 17. According to the rules, students must not _________ their books during examinations.(www.52ysedu.com) A. read B. watch C. notice D. look at 【分析】此題容易誤選A,因?yàn)樵S多學(xué)生牢牢地記住了:看書看報(bào)用 read,看電視用watch,看電影用see,看比賽用watch,看黑板用look at,等等。 Let me have a look at the book (讓我看看或翻翻這本書),Please answer my questions without looking at your books (請不看書回答我的問題)。 |
