army與troop的區別

1. 兩者都可表示“軍隊”、“部隊”，但 army 著重指軍隊的整體，而 troop(通常用復數形式 troops)則著重指構成軍隊的士兵成員。如：

The Chinese People’s Liberation Army was founded on August 1927. 中國人民解放軍建立于 1927 年 8 月 1 日。

The troops forced an entrance into the town. 部隊強行進入這市鎮。
