關(guān)閉窗口 forbid用法小議
1. 一般不用于祈使句，如：
誤：Forbid her to go out.
正：Tell her not to go out. 叫她出去。
2. 其后可接雙賓語(yǔ)，意為“禁止或不準(zhǔn)某人（使用或進(jìn)入）……”。如：
His wife forbids him wine. 他老婆不準(zhǔn)他喝酒。
He forbade his children sweets because he didn’t want their teeth to be ruined. 他不準(zhǔn)孩子們吃糖，因?yàn)樗幌胨麄兊难例X受損壞。
比較同義句型：
He forbade me his car.=He forbade me the use of his car.=He forbade me to use his car. 他不準(zhǔn)我用他的小車(chē)。
3. 后接動(dòng)詞作賓語(yǔ)時(shí)，該動(dòng)詞要用動(dòng)名詞，不用不定式。如：
He forbids smoking during office hours. 他不允許在上班時(shí)間抽煙。
動(dòng)名詞前有時(shí)可以有自己的邏輯主語(yǔ)。如：
I can’t forbid your seeing that man again. 我無(wú)法禁止你再和那個(gè)男人來(lái)往。
注意，其后雖然不直接跟不定式，但可跟不定式的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)。如：
I forbid you to tell anyone. 我不準(zhǔn)你告訴任何人。
The doctor forbids him to smoke. 醫(yī)生禁止他吸煙。
表示“禁止某人做某事”，按傳統(tǒng)語(yǔ)法，英語(yǔ)通常用 prevent (stop, keep, prohibit) sb from doing sth，而不用 forbid，但在現(xiàn)代英語(yǔ)中也可以這樣用。如：
