bath與bathe辨析

1. bath的用法

(1) 用作名詞，一般指在室內(nèi)的浴室或浴缸里“洗澡”，是可數(shù)名詞；英國英語和美國英語都用它，但搭配上稍有差別，英國英語多用have a bath，而美國英語多用take a bath。如：

3. bathe無論在英國英語還是美國英語中，都可以表示用水沖洗身上疼痛的部位，此時為及物動詞。如：

The nurse bathed the wound. 護士沖洗傷口。

The doctor told him to bathe his eyes twice a day. 醫(yī)生叫他每天洗眼兩次。

4. 漢語說“日光浴”，說成英語是sunbathe，不是sunbath。如：
