majority作主語(yǔ)時(shí)的主謂一致問(wèn)題

1. the majority表示“大多數(shù)”時(shí)，為集合名詞；單獨(dú)用作主語(yǔ)時(shí)，如果強(qiáng)調(diào)整體，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用單數(shù)形式；如果強(qiáng)調(diào)個(gè)體，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用復(fù)數(shù)形式。如：

The majority agree [agrees] with me. 大多數(shù)人同意我的意見(jiàn)。

The majority was [were] in favour of the proposal. 多數(shù)人贊成這個(gè)建議。

但是若單獨(dú)用的 the majority后跟有復(fù)數(shù)表語(yǔ)，則謂語(yǔ)通常要用復(fù)數(shù)。如：

2. “the majority of+復(fù)數(shù)名詞”用作主語(yǔ)時(shí)，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞通常用復(fù)數(shù)，但偶爾也可用單數(shù)。如：
