關(guān)閉窗口 content 有哪些用法
1. 用作形容詞，表示“滿足的”“滿意的”，只用作表語(yǔ)，其后多接不定式或介詞 with。如：
Are you content with your salary? 你對(duì)你的薪水滿意嗎？
I should be well content to stay here. 我很樂(lè)意呆在這兒。
若要用作定語(yǔ)，要用 contented（它也可用表語(yǔ)）。如：
There was a contented smile on his face. 他臉上露出了滿意的微笑。
She is content with very little. 她易于滿足。
2. 用作動(dòng)詞，為及物動(dòng)詞，它的意思不是“滿足”“滿意”，而是“使……滿足”“使……滿意”，其后總是接人作賓語(yǔ)（包括接反身代詞）。如：
Nothing could content him. 什么也不能使他滿足。
We should never content ourselves with book knowledge only. 我們切不可只滿足于書(shū)本知識(shí)。
3. 用作名詞，表示“滿足”，是不可數(shù)名詞。如：
He takes content in nothing. 他這個(gè)人從不滿足。
另外，它還有以下用法：
(1) 表示“內(nèi)容”，若指抽象意義，不可數(shù)；若指具體意義或具體所裝的東西，則可數(shù)（通常用復(fù)數(shù)）。如：
The teacher returned his paper and said the content was very interesting. 教師還給他論文，說(shuō)論文內(nèi)容很有意思。
The contents of the telegram are as follows. 電報(bào)內(nèi)容如下。
(2) 表示“含量”“容量”，通常用單數(shù)形式。如：
Oranges have a high vitamin C content. 橙子的維生素C含量很高。
(3) 表示“目錄”，總是用復(fù)數(shù)形式，用于名詞前作定語(yǔ)也是如此。如：
It is advisable to look at the contents page of a book, before buying it. 買書(shū)前最好是先看一看目錄。
有時(shí)甚至還可與不定冠詞連用。如：
Is there a contents? 有目錄嗎？
