關(guān)閉窗口 介詞 in 用法詳解
用法比較復(fù)雜，以下幾點(diǎn)須注意：
1. 表示時(shí)間，表示“在……后”，注意它與after的區(qū)別：雖然兩者均可與一段時(shí)間連用，表示多久之后，但in 以現(xiàn)在時(shí)間為起點(diǎn)，表示從現(xiàn)在起多久以后，通常用于將來(lái)時(shí)態(tài)或含有將來(lái)意味的句子；而 after 則以過(guò)去或?qū)?lái)時(shí)間為起點(diǎn)，表示從那以后。如：
I’ll come back in five minutes. 我5分鐘后就回來(lái)。（以現(xiàn)在時(shí)間為起點(diǎn)）
He came back after five minutes. 5分鐘后他就回來(lái)了。（以過(guò)去時(shí)間為起點(diǎn)）
但是，若after后接的不是一“段”時(shí)間，而是一“點(diǎn)”時(shí)間，則完全可以現(xiàn)在時(shí)間為起點(diǎn)。如：
I’ll come back after five o’clock. 我5點(diǎn)鐘以后回來(lái)。
不過(guò)，在現(xiàn)代英語(yǔ)中，以上規(guī)則有時(shí)被打破。如：
I may come after a day or two. 我可能過(guò)一兩天會(huì)來(lái)。
Wang Bing is leaving the USA after two days. 兩天后王兵要離開(kāi)美國(guó)。
2. 類(lèi)似in three days 這樣的短語(yǔ)，有時(shí)含義不易確定，因?yàn)樗瓤杀硎尽?/FONT>3天內(nèi)”，也可表示“3天后”，大致可以這樣區(qū)分：若與延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞連用，則表示“3天內(nèi)”，若與非延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞連用，則表示“3天后”。如：
He learnt English in three weeks. 他在3周內(nèi)學(xué)會(huì)了英語(yǔ)。
The train will arrive in a few minutes. 火車(chē)過(guò)幾分鐘就到。
但語(yǔ)言的實(shí)際并不完全是這樣，有時(shí)需視具體的上下文或語(yǔ)境來(lái)確定。如：
We should be able to complete the work in five days. 我們應(yīng)該能在5天內(nèi)完成這工作。
為了明確語(yǔ)義，有時(shí)人們就分別用 within 和 after 來(lái)表示“在……內(nèi)”和“在……后”：
I’ll see you again within three days. 3天內(nèi)我再來(lái)看你。
I’ll see you again after three days. 3天后我再來(lái)看你。
3. 表地點(diǎn)、位置、范圍、空間等，注意不要混淆in與on的用法。如：
瞧，墻上有個(gè)洞。
誤：Look, there’s a hole on the wall.
正：Look, there’s a hole in the wall.
比較：a picture on the wall 墻上的畫(huà)。
我在報(bào)紙上看到這條消息。
誤：I read about it on the newspaper.
正：I read about it in the newspaper.(www.52ysedu.com)
比較：a photo on the newspaper（放在報(bào)紙上的照片），a photo in the newspaper（登在報(bào)紙上的照片）。
有時(shí)用介詞 in 或 on 均可：在英國(guó)英語(yǔ)多用 in，在美國(guó)英語(yǔ)中多用 on。如：
in the street / on the street 在街上
in the road / on the road 在路上
in our team / on our team 在我們隊(duì)
