接不定式與動名詞意義相同的動詞　　

一、歸納　　

后接不定式和動名詞意思基本相同的動詞主要有attempt(試圖)，begin(開始)，bother(麻煩)，can’t bear(忍受不了)，cease(停止)，continue(繼續(xù))，hate(討厭)，intend(想要)，like(喜歡)，love(喜歡)，prefer(寧愿)，propose(建議)，start(開始)等。如：　　

Do you like playing (to play) chess? 你喜歡下棋嗎？　　

He can’t bear travelling (to travel) by sea. 他坐不了海船。　　

I propose making (to make) a change in the plan. 我建議把計劃作些改動。　　

Don’t bother to get (getting) dinner for me. 請不必費事為我做飯了。　　

He continued reading (to read) when I spoke to him. 我同 他說話時，他仍在繼續(xù)閱讀。　　

二、注意　　

1. 在begin, cease, continue或start的進行式后面通常要用不定式，而不用動名詞，因為兩個-ing形式的重復聽起來別扭。如：　　

He was beginning to recover when he had another attack. 他正在開始恢復時，突然病又發(fā)作了。　　

2. 當 like, love, hate, prefer 與 would, should 連用時，其后只能接不定式。如：　　

I’d hate to disturb him if he’s busy. 如果他忙，我就不想打擾他了。　　

If you would like to come I’ll get a ticket for you. 如果你想來，我就給你弄一張票。
