時間或地點名詞后一定要用where, when來引導定語從句嗎

我們有的初學者在學習定語從句時，誤認為時間名詞后就一定要用 when 來引導定語從句，地點名詞后就一定要用 where 來引導定語從句。其實不一定。如：

b. I will never forget the days __________ I spent in the country.

此題應選D。容易誤選B。考生往往錯誤地認為，時間或地點名詞后的定語從句就一定要用關系副詞when或where 來引導。注意在選擇關系副詞when 時，考生要明確兩個問題：一是先行詞是否是指時間或地點的名詞，二是when，where在定語從句中是否用作狀語。
