feel like究竟什么意思？
——譯林版《牛津高中英語》模塊一中的一處失誤

譯林版《牛津高中英語》(模塊一 高一上學(xué)期)(2006年12月第次印刷)p64：
7 I feel like we have to punish him or he won’t respect us. (page 23, line 52-53) 我覺得我們得懲罰他一下，要不然他會(huì)不尊重我們。feel like意思是“想要”，一般后接名詞、代詞或動(dòng)名詞，在口語中有時(shí)也接從句。
從以上可以看出教材的編者認(rèn)為 I feel like we have to punish him or he won’t respect us.中的 feel like 意思是“想要”，然而在例句中其對(duì)應(yīng)的漢語卻是“……覺得……。”兩者之間卻有天壤之別，那么此處的 feel like 究竟什么意思？
呂志士、袁錫興在其主編的《英語慣用法大詞典》(中國(guó)科學(xué)技術(shù)出版社1994年12月第1版)p764給出了明確的答案：
(4) 在口語中，feel like 后面可接由 that 引導(dǎo)的從句，意思與 feel as if 相同，作“感覺好像……”解。如：
I feel like (that I am sitting on pins and needles.
He felt like (that) he was going to faint.
由此可知：feel like后面接由that引導(dǎo)的從句時(shí)，意思與feel as if 相同，作“感覺好像……”解，而不是像譯林版《牛津高中英語》所說的作“想要”解。
同時(shí)，這一說法可以從以下資料中得到印證：
1.“英語語法網(wǎng)”之“feel like 用法詳解”(www.52ysedu.com/Article/200811/892.html)：
注：后接句子時(shí)，其中的 like 相當(dāng)于 as if 或 as though。如：
I felt like [as if, as though] I was swimming. 我覺得好像在游泳似的。
Alice felt like [as if, as though] she was in a very nice dream. 艾麗斯覺得她好像在做一個(gè)美夢(mèng)。
2. 蕭鳳歧編著《現(xiàn)代英語慣用法實(shí)例詞典》(北京理工大學(xué)出版社 1989 年10月第一版)p327：
在非正式的口語里，feel like 后面可以接 clauses 與 feel as if 同義。例如：
“How do you feel?” Manny asked brightly. “Feel? How do I feel? I feel like I’m two hundred years old and red hot pincers are pulling at my chest.” ( Lee Langley[Eng.] 1980)
實(shí)例表明，feel like 后面可接兩個(gè) clauses，clauses 里的謂語可用實(shí)際時(shí)態(tài)。
3. N. D. Turton and J. B. Heaton主編的Longman Dictionary of Common Errors (Eleventh impression 2003) p135：
P In some places you feel like you are in a jungle.
Feel like (and feel as if /though) are followed by a clause:
I felt as if everyone was staring at me. (=It seemed as if….)
4. Michael Swan著Practical English Usage即《英語用法指南》（第二版 翻譯本）（鄭榮成等編譯，外語教學(xué)與研究出版社 2000年9月第1版） p273：
Alice felt as if/though she was in a very nice dream. 艾麗斯覺得她好像在做夢(mèng)。（也可以說：Alice felt like she was…）
