學(xué)習(xí)連系動詞應(yīng)注意的幾個易錯點

1. 連系動詞后通�？山有稳菰~作表語，一般不接副詞。如：

誤：I felt very nervously when I went into his office. 當我走進他的辦公室時,我感到很緊張。

正：I felt very nervous when I went into his office.

誤：He was nicely to us. 他對我們很友好。

正：He was nice to us.

但是，少數(shù)表示地點或方位的副詞如in, on, off, out, away, behind, up, down, over, through, around, round, below, inside, outside以及here, there, upstairs, downstairs等常可跟在連系動詞后作表語。如：

My husband won't be in until six o'clock.我丈夫要到六點鐘才在家。

When we arrived the film was over. 當我們到達時，電影結(jié)束了。

The old lady was upstairs. 那位老婦人在樓上待過。

I didn’t know you were here. 我不知道你在這兒。

2. 連系動詞后可接不定式作表語。

(1) 連系動詞be后可接不定式作表語。如：

My dream is to become the best footballer in the town. 我的夢想是成為全城最好的足球隊員。

A soldier’s duty is to obey orders. 軍人以服從命令為天職。

If a man is to succeed, he must work as hard as he can. 一個人要想成功，必須盡可能地努力工作。

(2) seem, appear, prove, continue, get, grow, come, turn out等連系動詞后也可接不定式(尤其是to be)作表語，如：

I still seem to hear the music. 我還覺得音樂好像在我耳邊縈繞。

My advice proved to be wrong. 我的意見證明是錯的。

Babies of two months old do not appear to be reluctant to enter the water. 兩個月的嬰兒看來不象是不肯下水的。

The plan turned out to be a failure. 這項計劃結(jié)果歸于失敗。

For years her love life continued to be one long tragic and comic novel. 多年來，她的愛情生活一直是一部既悲且喜的長篇小說。

She has a hot temper, but you will soon grow to like her. 她脾氣躁，但不久你就會喜歡她了。

The drug proved (to be) highly effective. 這種藥證明是非常有效的。

(3) 在表示知覺的連系動詞 sound, smell, feel, taste, become等后通常不能接不定式。如：

誤：They were all hungry and the food smelt to be good.

正：They were all hungry and the food smelt good. 他們都餓了，因而感到飯菜噴香。

誤：This tea tastes to be sweet.

正：This tea tastes sweet. 這茶的味道很香。

(4) 少數(shù)連系動詞后面接的從句可用不定式改寫為簡單句。如：

It seemed that the man was ill.

= The man seemed to be ill. 這個人好像病了。

It appears that she failed to follow our instructions. 看來她并沒有照指示做。.

= She appears to have failed to follow our instructions.
