英語(yǔ)修飾格學(xué)習(xí)資料——Personification(擬人) Personification(擬人)是指把物(包括物體、動(dòng)物、思想或抽象概念)擬作人,使其具有人的外表、個(gè)性或情感的這樣的修辭手段。借用Personification(擬人)可以表現(xiàn)作者的思想感情,增強(qiáng)語(yǔ)言的感染力和生動(dòng)性,使表現(xiàn)對(duì)象栩栩如生,活靈活現(xiàn),并使其特征更為突出感人。 ◆Wall has ears. ◆Wind whispers in the breeze. ◆The streamlet murmurs sadly. ◆Youth is wild, and age is tame. ◆Thirsty soil drank in the rain ◆The sun kissed the green fields. ◆Death walks closer to the patient. ◆The flowers nodded in the breeze. ◆This time fate was smiling to him. ◆Love embraces me from time to time. ◆The future beckoned eagerly to them. ◆Did you see the anger of the tempest? ◆The moon is smiling, the sun is very shy. ◆Thunder roared and a pouring rain started. ◆England expects every man to do his duty. ◆The leaves are trembling in the cold wind. ◆The wind is listening to our talk attentively. ◆The frost is so cruel that it killed all flowers. ◆Youth is hot and bold, age is weak and cold. ◆Daffodils are dancing and fluttering in the breeze. ◆Proudly the flood comes in, shouting, advancing. ◆Clouds chased each other across the face of the Moon. ◆Nature smiled on their work and gave it her blessing. ◆The thirsty desert drank up the water to its heart's content. ◆The storm was raging and an angry sea was continuously tossing their boat. |
