定冠詞的四種特指用法

表示特指是定冠詞的最基本用法，這里所說的“特指”至少有以下幾層意思：

1. 特指上文提到過的人或物。如：

比較：

We need a boy who knows French. 我們需要一個懂法語的男孩。(泛指任意一個懂法語的男孩)

4. 用于比較級前，特指兩個被比較的對象的一個。如：

Of the two brothers, the younger is more interesting. 在這兩兄弟中，年輕的這個更有趣。
