修飾特殊形容詞的特殊副詞

有的形容詞在需要加強(qiáng)語(yǔ)氣時(shí)，習(xí)慣上有自己特定的副詞。如：

(1) well worth 很值得

It was well worth waiting for. 這件事倒是很值得等待。

The exhibition is well worth a visit. 這個(gè)展覽會(huì)值得一看。

(2) sound (fast, deeply) asleep 熟睡

Don’t wake her up—she’s fast (sound) asleep. 別吵醒她，她睡得很熟(很香)。

The postman comes at 6.30 in the morning, at which time I am usually fast asleep. 郵遞員早晨6點(diǎn)30分來(lái), 這個(gè)時(shí)候我通常還睡著大覺(jué)呢。

(3) wide (fully) awake 完全醒了

(4) well content 非常滿(mǎn)意
