heavy習(xí)慣上不與具體的重量連用

■像old, long, tall, deep, thick, wide等形容詞可用于具體的年齡(歷史時(shí)間)、長度、高度、深度、厚度、寬度等。如：

He is forty years old. 他四十歲了。

She is only five feet tall. 她只有五英尺高。

The room is ten metres long. 這間屋子長10米。
